What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get it back or have it deleted. It is short because we do very little.

The short version

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from anybody else. Reading it is anonymous — we do not know you were here.

The only personal information we ever hold is what you choose to type into one of the two forms, and the only thing we do with it is reply to you.

What we collect

If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you chose to give one, and whatever you wrote.

If you make a banquet-hall enquiry, we receive your name, email address, phone number, the kind of event, roughly how many guests, the date you have in mind, and any note you added.

That is everything. There is no account to create, nothing is collected in the background, and no field is gathered that you cannot see on screen.

What we use it for

To answer you, and nothing else. Your details go to the restaurant’s own email inbox so that a person here can read the message and reply.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list. There is no mailing list.

How long we keep it

Your message stays in the restaurant’s email for as long as it is useful to have it — while we are arranging your event, or answering your question, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us about it.

Ask us to delete it and we will.

Who else touches it

Delivering an email involves the service that carries it and the mailbox provider that stores it. Those companies process the message on our behalf in order to deliver it, and may hold it on servers outside Canada. They are not permitted to use it for anything of their own.

Nobody else has access. There is no third-party form service, no CRM, and no advertising platform involved at any point.

Cookies and tracking

There are none. No cookies, no local storage, no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no social-media trackers. The typefaces are served from this website rather than from a font service, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you did.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which is how any website works. We do not use them to build a profile of anybody.

Ordering through DoorDash

We link to our DoorDash storefront so you can order delivery. DoorDash is a separate company and once you follow that link you are on their website, under their privacy policy and their cookies, not ours.

We do not receive your browsing behaviour from them. What we get is an order, with the details DoorDash needs to pass on so we can cook it and they can deliver it.

Your rights

Under Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. Federal privacy law may also apply to some of what we do.

Ask by email or by phone using the details below and we will deal with it. We will not charge you and we will not ask why.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If a child has sent us something, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works, we will change this page and update the date at the top of it.
